2. Q: Is there a place to get a boating safety certification on line?
A: Yes there is a great website that you may learn for free!! They don't charge until you have passed the test. Please see their link below in our sponsors page.
3. Q: I'm not a corporation just a personal boat owner will I be able to get rental insurance for my boat and a captain?
A: Rental insurance is available even if you are a sole proprietor and if there is a captain or no captain on your vessel. Most rental insurance policies replace your personal vessel policy with the addition of being able to rent the vessel. 4. Q: Do I need to obtain a occupational license or change my boat registration if I am renting my boat?
A: You need to check with your local county tax/registration office for rules and regulations in your state. Usually fees are nominal, and the process is quick.
